Cutest Baby Contest Entry Deadline Extended
United Health Services Delaware Valley Hospital is excited to once again sponsor the Cutest Baby Contest at the Delaware County Fair.
We have not received many entries for the contest, so we will extend the deadline to submit photos to July 21.
The following is a reminder of how the contest will work this year, as there are some exciting changes!
This year, we are going to be able to put all the baby photos on-line on the UHS website (nyuhs.org). This will give distant friends and relatives the opportunity to see their favorite little one’s photo among all the other contestants. Therefore, by submitting your child’s photo, you will automatically be giving us permission to put the photo on-line.
We are still hoping to be able to collect votes on-line as well. If we are successful, we will put an announcement on Facebook, and we will email anyone who has sent in a photo to let them know.
Votes will remain at $.50 a vote, however, if you choose to vote on-line we will require a minimum $5 donation (10 votes) to help offset the costs associated with on-line donation collection. On-line donations will be shut off as of August 10 th and from then through the fair only in-person donations made at the Delaware County Fair will be added to each baby’s total votes.
The following rules apply:
The child must be 2 years of age or younger as of August 1. Please email a current photo of your child. Each child will be assigned a number, and that is how they will be identified on the website and the fair.
The child's name, date of birth, parent’s name, address, and phone number must be included in your email. Please also include following statement in your email: I give UHS Delaware Valley Hospital permission to use my child’s photo on social media, the UHS website, and in print for flyers, Photos must be submitted no later than July 15 by emailing them to dotti.kruppo@nyuhs.org
